IVECO Stralis model – The same result as with a particle filter, but the test car has none
The truck IVECO Type Stralis had at the time of installation (29.09.2010) a tachometer of 197,667 km, in the meantime it changed to 308,492 km and the absorption coefficient (K-merit or turbidity merit) is, as measured on 24 January 2013, at no less than 0.05 m-1. The limit lt manufacturer is stated with 0,84 m-1, the 0.05 mean only a fraction of it and correspond with a truck and with particle filter. But the test car has no particle filter!!
The exhaust gas reduction plays nowadays a more important role. Therefore, it is almost at the top of the priority list because the exhaust gas and the fuel consumption can be easily measured and compared after no more than 10 tanks of fuel, not only after 2 years. (22/04/2013)
