I have installed the Fuelsaver type M in February in my Mercedes C 250 TD (filter assembly).
Measured it over 1 year, the consumption was at 6.97 L before the installation.
Now, in mid-June the consumption is at 6 L.
The torque in the lower range feels higher – generally a bit gaseous.
